The challenge
Looking to expand the financial solutions this company was offering, it turned to Akendi for deep innovation research.
Our approach
After internal stakeholder sessions with the innovation team to identify current thinking and understanding of the customer landscape, Akendi developed a series of storyboards to capture the different experience journeys of the new opportunity.
We then conducted a series of focus groups with potential customers to develop a deep understanding of the usage scenarios and perceived value of the product experience.
With the extensive insights that came from the research, this financial institution had all the information they needed to make informed decisions for next steps in this innovation initiative. The impact of time and effort savings as a result were apparent long after our research was completed.
